Compared to the production of new polyester, the use of recycled PET saves an enormous amount of energy and is therefore a particularly efficient use of resources. One of our most important principles is taking responsibility for our actions: That is why recycling is our highest priority. The PET from disposable drinking bottles is shredded into flakes and then spun into new polyester yarn. It acquires a new life in new materials and structures. Consistent quality and prevention of pollutants is extremely important in recycling. This is why we have joined forces with well-known companies such as Waste2Wear. Waste2Wear produces environmentally friendly materials from used, recycled plastic bottles in a fully certified and transparent value chain. The aim is to use plastic waste to produce innovative textiles and create new high-quality products.
