FIGHTING CANCER TOGETHER – YESWECAN!CER
#dubistnichtallein (#youarenotalone) - A statement that is a great comfort, especially for people who have been diagnosed with cancer. In fact, every second German will be affected by the disease in the course of his or her life. Nevertheless, for many it is still a taboo topic. The yeswecan!cer GmbH wants to change that: Prominent supporters, including influencers, sharing their stories about the disease, in blogs, on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, are helping to contribute to authentic, open and positive communication. As a supporter of YES!CON, the largest convention by and for those affected, LÄSSIG wants to contribute to breaking the taboo surrounding this topic. The campaign #dubistnichtallein is intended to set an example and, for those affected, to gain confidence.
True to the motto “with each other, for each other – becoming stronger together”, LÄSSIG is an official sponsor of the annual YES!CON. The live meet-up, taking place every year, aims to connect the rapidly growing community beyond digital channels. yeswecan!cer is thus pursuing the long-term goal of becoming the largest community of active patients, survivors and interested parties. In 2020, YES!CON had already reached more than 20,000 participants. Those who cannot attend in person, have the possibility of following the event digitally via the yescon.org platform.
